Extensa sells Alter Domus building in Cloche d’Or

Hannover Leasing purchased the Alter Domus building from Grossfeld PAP, whose shareholders are Extensa and Promobe, in November 2018. The German fund manager, part of the Corestate Capital Group, announced that it made the purchase on behalf of Finnish mutual pension insurance company Ilmarinen and a French institutional investor.

The sale took place as Alter Domus made its move to its new headquarters. The fund and corporate services provider will call Cloche d’Or home for at least the next decade, having entered into a 12-year lease agreement without break options. Its neighbours include Deloitte and, shortly, Intesa Sanpaolo, who have also committed to developing bespoke offices in Cloche d’Or.

Extensa began the development process of the 11,163 square metre building, also referred to as Melius, in 2014. Construction began in 2016 and Extensa worked with Moreno Architecture & Associés to realise Alter Domus’ vision of eco-friendly, ergonomic workspaces that encourage employee collaboration.
