One of Extensa’s new additions to the Tour & Taxis site, the bright and flexible Herman Teirlinck building provides value to a range of possible occupants.
The layout of Herman Teirlinck is straightforward yet adaptable. On the ground level is a “central boulevard” where office workers can meet, eat and drink around public gardens. This area also holds meeting rooms, exhibition space and auditoriums. The upper levels feature two large gardens, and workspaces are situated along the external walls to maximize daylight in the centre of the building.
Herman Teirlinck is the largest passive office building in Belgium. It is also a smart building, offering unlimited control over temperature, environment, acoustics, air quality and natural lighting. This gives everyone the autonomy to create their ideal work environment.
Currently the Herman Teirlinck building is customised to house the Flemish Government Administration in Brussels.
